Poker is a card game in which players independently attempt to assemble a high-ranking poker hand. It is played with a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 14. The object of the game is to win the pot, which is the aggregate of all bets made by players in a given deal. This pot can be won either by having the highest-ranking poker hand or by making a bet that no other player calls. If you play a lot of poker, you’ll learn to spot conservative players (who fold early) and aggressive players (who risk too much money).
