Alternatively, if players are not willing to deal, they can pass the responsibility to another player. Poker has become immensely popular since it was broadcast on television in the early 1970s. The game of poker was first played in the 1850s. In the United States, five-card stud was popular. At the time, two-thirds of high-stakes games were played with this game.
